Below is the first edition of the Australian FI Weekly, emailed on Mondays. Subscribe to the email list and join other savvy subscribers to get this first!
What’s this? Each Monday, your inbox will be filled with a joyful dose of financial independence blog posts, podcasts, news and events from Australia and beyond.
Who are you? I’m Michelle, a mid-30s Australian on the path to financial independence. I blog about my journey at FrugalityandFreedom.com, with themes of budget travel, mini-retirements, frugal hacks, minimalism, sustainability, and alternative careers.
I’m writing to you from my new (temporary) home in Auckland, after completing a year-long mini-retirement trip around USA in June. I’ll be working an event management role in NZ until early 2020, adding to my FI stash and travel funds for the next adventure! Read my guest post on The Fioneers’ “Slowing Down to FI” series about my approach to being happily semi-retired.
Without further ado, here’s the first edition of the Australian FI Weekly!
Got any feedback? I’d love to hear from you at michelle@frugalityandfreedom.com

Thanks for sharing the podcast. Breanna and I had a terrific conversation!
It was a fun episode to listen to. You sound the way I imagined you might from your blog posts.
